Through the #MelihatMasaDepan campaign under Campaign for Good, this initiative seeks to make a direct impact on Indonesia’s eye health sector. It aims to address urgent needs while building a foundation for community empowerment and sustainable eye health practices across the region.
#MelihatMasaDepan is an initiative by Campaign for Good, focused on improving eye health in Indonesia by supporting local organizations, gathering community insights, and promoting public education.
Indonesia faces a growing eye health challenge, with 37 million people affected and prevalence rising by 10.9% since 2010. This highlights the need for sustained interventions and awareness efforts.
Local and international organizations running eye health programs in Indonesia, and demonstrating innovation and measurable impact, are eligible for unrestricted micro-grants.
Surveys will be implemented in various regions across Indonesia, collecting feedback on community needs, perceptions, and barriers to eye care. Participation will be facilitated through Challenges and online forms on the Campaign for Good platform.
The campaign seeks to expand mapping of active organizations, improve access to eye care, strengthen local initiatives, and increase public awareness about the importance of eye health.
Anyone can join by completing the survey form and/or participating in the Challenge through the Campaign for Good platform.
The campaign is supported by a funder committed to improving public health outcomes, with Campaign for Good serving as the implementing organization.
